THE SUNDERING AND "MAGICALS"
Magicals come from all around the known galaxy except for Earth. Each and every planet with a different culture and people. Magicals are beings that were granted special abilities by “Gods” who blessed them with powers unique to their homes and heritage. Magicals from all over worshiped different deities that eventually left them and vanished without a trace, this event is called the Sundering. This event splits magicals from humans quite drastically.
EARTH, THE UNIVERSAL. EARTH. ALLIANCE (UEA) AND “HUMANS”
As a result of the Sundering, Earth never felt the touch of the deities that granted most magicals their powers. Paving way for humans to develop advances in technology to better themselves instead of relying on magical abilities. These advances in technology became taxing on the planet, and soon sending it on the path to becoming uninhabitable. With resources scarce and the planet on the tilt of destruction the governing bodies of Earth quarreled and warred over what little remained, which hastened the downfall of the planet.
With the Earth being on it’s last leg, one governing body stood above the rest. Eventually they unified the rest under one ideal, to reach to the stars for a new home, thus the United Earth Alliance was born.
OPERATION SCORN
With a new goal in hand The UEA devised shuttles that could transport humans into space and back, quickly, and safely. With the shuttles ready, the UEA quickly worked on a space colony that would provide them the buffer they needed to continue into the stars. Knowing the rest of the planets in Earth’s solar system wouldn’t safely fill their needs, the UEA turned to other stars and systems in search for a home.
Eventually, after months of searching and many lives lost, the UEA finally found a planet that would become their new home. Unfortunately, it had already been inhabited by another race of people. The people that called the planet home welcomed humans with open arms giving them gifts, listening to their long history and tale of searching for a new home.
The UEA set up a grand meeting with the main leaders of the planet they had found, and with all of their major figureheads in one place, they murdered them all. This event in history started a war between those people and UEA. The UEA lead a genocidal rampage across the people of the planet, killing anyone they could. Eventually winning the war, the UEA renamed the planet Utopia, and it became the center of UEA Space.
UEA’S HUNGER FOR MORE AND THE SUPER SOLDIER PROGRAM
After the UEA’s major victory over the natives of “Utopia” the leaders of it were left unquenched. The UEA amassed more forces and searched for more planets to plant their flag upon, but not every planet was as easy as their first. Soon the UEA found itself stretched too thin over the years.
With the hunger for more might and the need for more growth, the UEA started to make massive strides in bio technology to combat the magical resistance they met on most planets. Creating super soldiers that could level mountains, decimate armies, and live forever. The super soldiers allowed the UEA to make major advancements into all currently known space, but this age of advancement soon ended when the Super soldiers became mentally unstable and began to fail the UEA on many accounts.
PRESENT DAY
The UEA eventually slowed their advances on known space leaving only a few planets free from their control. They no longer use the Super soldiers, but instead keep their presence in known space by using devices that render magic useless. The UEA also banned any use of any magical powers on most planets and segregate magicals from humans whenever they can.
Many magicals have been assimilated into UEA culture with most shuttled off from their home planets to space colonies or to Earth as refugees. Not all magicals are content with the UEA, and most magicals that have escaped UEA rule, have joined together creating the resistance group named “Javelin” to rise against the UEA at any cost.
