Jesse's appearance on Lawndale-5 was a mystery, but he quickly became a favorite around the space colony for helping around. He spends most of his time inside the confines of Lawndale-5's matinence wings keeping the whole thing together.

Jesse has seen many of his assistants come and go because of the “challenge” of their job, and is often found in bouts of depression at the Warlock Bar longing for someone to keep the job and a friendship he can rely on.
