Mala was only a young boy when his home planet was conquered by the UEA. In the take over, both his parents lost their lives leaving him alone. Mala was never strong with his magical connection, until an event forced him to act. This event caused him discover his true strength.

Unlike most Velkans, who can only manipulate rocks and some metals on their own body, Mala can manipulate any type of metal on other people’s body as long as they are touching them.

Mala soon became feared among other velkans that knew of him, because his power was nothing of the likes they have ever seen. With fear as his shield he used it, and Velkans that chose to follow him, to build an empire of crime and run a speakeasy distributing a banned substance called “Mana”.
